I want add new zone by myself but how to get Zone ID ?
Every time when you enter a zone, there is a zone ID displayed at the upper
right hand corner of the SpyEQ. Take for example, Zone ID: 202, which refer
to Plane of Knowledge.
For a side notes, I haven't purchased expansion of LoY nor LDoN, so all the
zone info of these 2 expansions cannot be added at the moment. However, I am
really appreciated if anyone of you can get me the zone info, so I can do an
update for all of you.
I downloaded the map & modified SpyEQ.in but still can't load the map why ?
If zone ID on SpyEQ (at the upper right hand corner) is displayed but map
doesn't show, then I would say the map you are using is written in a wrong
format. SpyEQ reads CR (Carriage Return) and LF (Line feed) at the end of
each line ONLY. To have this problem solved, you can simply open your map
file with Wordpad (Windows built-in word processor) and save it without
changing anything. At the time, wordpad will add a CR at the end of each
line for the map files which contain LF only.
I downlaoded from downlaod page which says "The version should be 2.5.0.195" after installed, still says 2.5beta.
How to check it ?
Open file manger, right click on SpyEQ.exe, go for Properties. Click on
Version tab, you will see the current version of SpyEQ you are using. (For
WinXP users only)
When I press CTRL + ALT + M, the map show up but it just constantly flickering. Bug?
Flickering on screen doesnˇ¦t means bugged or any errors occurred. Due to
the technical problems that I used to write this function, this phenomenon
cannot be avoided at this moment. In order to reduce the flickering screen,
try to adjust the ˇ§Map Refresh Rateˇ¨ accordingly.
Why the Macro function didn't work ?
If your OS is WinXp & Installed Application Compatibility Toolkit.
Run the Compatibility Adminstration Tool and Disable it.
